For more than a decade, Lectors and Commentators (LECOM) Qatar has been inspiring Parishioners with the way they proclaim God’s words. Back in 2000, there were only two readers during masses aside from Deacon Cesar Calma. It was during the time of Father Tom Veneracion, in the year 2001, that LECOM started having Commentators for English/Filipino masses, Thursday evenings & Friday mornings. Readers grew in numbers and called the LECOM Ministry was formed. Over the years, LECOM was able to invite 53- (Fifty Three) dedicated members who are committed in serving the whole congregation.
LECOM started its screening process with a standard criteria and new members were recruited annually.
